EXTERIOR BEACH
One of the best features of this beach is its access to the two white sand beaches bordering the
property. Currently, we are lucky to have up to six ancient
green sea turtles known as "honu" making their home in along these beaches. According to Hawaiian tradition, the "honu" are our guardian angels who watch over and protect us.
The "honu" are an endangered and protected species and should never be touched under any circumstances. The oils from our fingers and from our skins destroy the protective layer of their skin. Since this is their habitat, we ask that you honor and respect them from afar. Warning: They eat algae off of the rocks and may bump in to you specifically if you are wearing green shorts resembling seaweed.
